MD-RSN Series Drawn Arc Stud Welder

Arc Stud Welding is generally used to weld large diameter fasteners to rougher and thicker base metals. Arc Studs may be almost any shape and there are literally hundreds, however, they must have one end of the fastener designed for Arc welding equipment. Mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum are applicable materials for Arc welding.

An added feature in the MD-RSN7 series is the ability to dial in the desired weld time and weld current before even making a weld. By selecting the setup mode, the weld time and current can be adjusted and displayed on the front panel digital meters. It is capable of welding studs from φ4 to φ36 with preciseness and repeatability.
