Product features

1. Friction coefficient is one of the basic properties of various materials. When there is relative motion or relative motion trend between two objects in contact with each other, the mechanical force on the contact surface that hinders the relative motion is friction. The friction properties of materials can be characterized by the dynamic and static friction coefficients of materials.

(1) Static friction is the maximum resistance of two contact surfaces at the beginning of relative movement, and its ratio to normal force is the static friction coefficient.

(2) Dynamic friction is the resistance when two contact surfaces move relative at a certain speed, and its ratio to normal force is the dynamic friction coefficient.

3. The friction coefficient is an important index to investigate the packaging film, because the friction in the packaging process is often even the power and resistance. The film is basically pulled by the equipment in all links of packaging production. The relationship between the film and the equipment in pulling and conveying needs to be fully considered, that is, the friction coefficient of the packaging film must be accurately measured, It is designed within a certain range (generally 0.3) to ensure that the film meets the effective pulling of machinery and equipment with the best flatness, uniformity and smoothness, so as to make the friction coefficient between films and between films and equipment appropriate, make the processing and downstream packaging operation convenient and easy, and implement smooth and efficient production. If the coefficient is too small, the packaging film will break and slip, resulting in the disconnection of the production line and causing huge losses to the enterprise; If the coefficient is too large, it will lead to a large waste of energy and increase the unnecessary raw material expenditure of enterprises.

For example; For the coil used for automatic packaging, it is generally required to have a small inner friction coefficient to ensure effective and good opening filling performance. The outer friction coefficient shall be appropriate. If the outer friction coefficient is too large, it will cause great resistance in the packaging process. If it is too small, it may cause the drag mechanism to slip, resulting in inaccurate electric eye tracking and cutting positioning.

4. During gravure printing, the friction between the equipment and the printing material (film) plays a very important role in printing quality and printing speed. For film coil for automatic printing, it is generally required to have a small inner friction coefficient. Too large outer friction coefficient will cause excessive resistance in the printing process, cause material tensile deformation and affect the printing effect, If it is too small, it may cause the drag mechanism to slip, resulting in inaccurate deviation correction system and reduced printing fastness. During printing, it is also easy to produce plate pasting, ink accumulation, uneven ink transmission and ink distribution, and waste due to material friction coefficient in the printing process.
