Introduction of Plasma

Plasma is a state of existence of matter. Usually matter exists in three states: solid, liquid, and gas, but in some special cases, there is a fourth state, such as the matter in the ionosphere of the earth's atmosphere. The following substances exist in the plasma state: electrons in a high-speed motion state; neutral atoms, molecules, and atomic groups (radicals) in an activated state; ionized atoms and molecules; unreacted molecules, atoms, etc., but the substance is in the overall remains electrically neutral.

The atmospheric low temperature plasma processor is composed of plasma generator, gas delivery system, pressure protection system and plasma nozzle.

The plasma generator generates high-voltage high-frequency energy to ionize the air in the activated and controlled glow discharge in the nozzle steel pipe, resulting in a low-temperature plasma, and the plasma is sprayed to the surface of the workpiece with the help of compressed air. When the surfaces meet, a series of chemical actions and physical changes occur, and the surfaces are cleaned and hydrocarbon-based contaminants are removed.

Plasma treated surfaces can be used to obtain very thin high tension coated surfaces without the need for any other mechanical or chemical treatments to increase adhesion. Through low-temperature plasma surface treatment, various physical and chemical changes occur on the surface of the material, or etching and roughening, or the formation of a dense cross-linked layer, or the introduction of oxygen-containing polar groups to make hydrophilic and adhesive properties. , dyeability, biocompatibility and electrical properties were improved. The surface of the material is treated under suitable process conditions, so that the surface morphology of the material has changed significantly, and a variety of oxygen-containing groups have been introduced to make the surface change from non-polar, difficult to stick to a certain polarity, easy to stick and hydrophilic. It is good for bonding, coating and printing.
